It's "Fall Foliage Festival" time here in Jim Thorpe, Pa. !!! The first three weekends of October in our little town in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania are celebrating the fall season with train rides, horse and buggy rides, music in the gazebo , craft vendors in the park, and quaint shops and restaurants decorated in their best fall colors. 
.....and, of course, it wouldn't be a fall foliage festival without the gorgeous fall foliage ...... 
......so, Mother Nature has cooperated and dressed the trees in their best fall colors just in time !
Those fall colors have been the inspiration behind all those lovely quilt blocks that have been showing up on the "Leafs me Happy" blog hop ....... and today is finally my blog hop turn!!!! 
......and, here it is ....
This is my "Fall Foliage Festival" block .

When I was in college, i spent the weekend with friends who took me to a covered bridge festival in Indiana. I wonder if they still do that? Sounds a lot like your fall foliage festival...such fun. Enjoy!
I love the block. I like the detail of the veins in the leaves. The photography of the tree foliage is amazing. I grew up in WV and miss the fall leaves. Actually, my first job out of college was in Meadville, PA - 30 miles south of Erie. I loved it there. We don't have fall colors here in eastern OK yet. So, it's nice to have the blocks to remind us that fall is here. Thank you for taking time to participate in the blog hop and share your creativity.
