WANTED : a little hocus pocus

Good morning Blogland Neighbor-hood ! What we're needing around here is Samantha to wiggle her nose and work her magic because ....

..with "help" from Daisy, the MBIAJ Sewing Dept finished...

....this LONG overdue graduation quilt for niece Stephanie .... well, the quilt TOP is finally finished and now it has been added to.....

..this pile of quilt tops that need to be quilted .....which is why we placed a "Help Wanted Ad" in the "Witches Gazette" requesting an experienced witch to come and wiggle her nose and utter a magic spell to get these quilt tops quilted and on their way to their new homes. Obviously this is a busy time of year for witches and while we were hoping to get Samantha Stevens, look who we got instead .....

...Kitty in her Halloween costume ..... (sigh)

OK, back to the sewing machine ....

Be back soon.
Toodles,
Mary Anne (aka Mare)

Maybe Miss Kitty will surprise you and will get those tops quilted. Maybe she can twitch her whiskers!!!

I often wish I could twitch my nose, too.

My best friend has a long arm machine, and she does my machine quilting. I don't mind quilting, but I would rather her do it since it doesn't take her as long as it would take me. I'm not that great at machine quilting. I can't wait to see how yours turns out.

Congratulations on completing your quilt top! It's adorable!!
Love Miss Kitty's costume. I'm sure she can twitch her whiskers and make a little hocus pocus...but, perhaps not with the results you are hoping for.

Ahhhhh it's purty Mary Ann! Congratulations on finishing it :) Now get to quilting (LOL). I've got a HQ16 and I'm still behind! There just isn't enough "sewing time" in our lives. LOL at Miss Kitty! I just love that little thang :)
