Well, since I can't show you my house all dressed up for Christmas -- yet ..... I thought I'd show you downtown Jim Thorpe,Pa all dressed up for Christmas. The first picture is of Packer Park with the train station in the background. Next is a picture of the bank, then hubby's business,The Inn at Jim Thorpe (sorry for the not so great pictures -- I'm still trying to figure out my new camera and taking pictures in the dark.) Anyhoo, the rest of the pictures are of some of the shops along Broadway, the main street in town. (I love that giraffe with the Santa hat in the window of the Mauch Chunk 5&10 -- Mauch Chunk is the original name of this town.)
Hope you enjoyed my little Holiday Tour of Jim Thorpe...... and, now, it's time for this sugar plum fairy to get off her duff and FINALLY put the pumpkins and pilgrims away !!! OK -- I must scurry !!! LOT's to do! LOT'S to do !!!!!!!
